The Old Village of Sidatapa ,Sidatapa Traditional House,North Bali

The Old Village of Sidatapa is estimated to have existed since 785 AD, however no inscriptions have yet been found that state the origin of this village, but the source comes from the elders of their village or ancestors so that Sidetapa is known as Bali Aga village. The origin of the population consists of a number of groups of residents, such as Pasek residents inhabiting the Leked area, Patih residents in the Kunyit Village area and Batur residents in the Sekarung area. And there is a group of citizens who are members of a Dadia temple, whose origins and predictions and possibilities from the Bali Aga cultural heritage are unknown.
The most interesting thing in Sidatapa village is the discovery of an old house called Bale Gajah overlapping, all their activities indoors, praying, weaving, and sleeping,
There are sidatapa village houses that have been renovated for 250 years, and are still intact in their preservation until now,
This house is owned by Mr. Wayan Ariawan who was inherited by his ancestors, and is still maintained,
This traditional house, aside from being a gathering place for Pan sada’s extended family, is also one of the attractions that are often visited by foreign guests,
